Wednesday 16 September 2026 (1055) – Since the closure of the enquiry office inside the bus station building, where just the public toilets were retained, the remaining area had been unsuccessfully advertised for let as a retail opportunity. It was finally decided to convert the unit for use as a town banking hub following the closure of the Lloyds and Barclays banks and the Post Office. Building work was taking place for the new use.

By Friday 18 September the contractors had enclosed the building with panels bolted to the large concrete blocks.

Mulleys Motorways SJ02 AAW was working the 1020 service 355 from Bury St. Edmunds to Beck Row. It is a former Dublin Bus Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL which I believe was their AV248 (02 D 10248) new around January 2002.
