Saturday 5 September 2026 – Islington Town Hall is a very busy place for marriages with some couples hiring vintage Routemaster buses to convey their wedding guests.

Traditional Travel Limited, Orpington hires out such vehicles for film work, events, wedding parties etc.

AEC/Park Royal Routemaster RML2270 (CUV 270C) had been new to London Transport and was awaiting a wedding party. (New circa July 1965).

Routemaster buses worked served London’s regular services for close to 50 years (1956-2005).

As the wedding parties gather and mingle everyday locals pass by going about their daily business. I don't fancy cycling here myslef!
