Good Friday 3 April 2026 (1015) – The Flixbus service 007 began on Maundy Thursday 17 April 2025 and ran twice daily between Norwich and Stratford (East London). This schedule was changed from 1 April 2026 when it was reduced to one daily trip although extended through to Victoria Coach Station, London.

Transport Made Simple owned Simonds of Botesdale Limited has operated the service since its inception in 2025 although some of the vehicles seen recently carry the legal name of Central Connect Transport Limited, a company also owned by Transport Made Simple. (This may simply be inter group transfer of vehicles or may be the interworking with other services).

420 (YK25 OMG), a Yutong GT12 new in April 2025, is seen on the A11 at Red Lodge when working the 0905 Norwich-London service.

Having departed Norwich at 0909 it had called at Thetford (at 0948-0958 although actually due there at 1000-1005). The next call was at Stratford (actual 1133-1140 but due there 1145-1150) and finally Victoria Coach Station (arriving at 1233 some 22 minutes earlier than the advertised arrival time of 1255). On the new timetable the northbound service departs Victoria at 1600 calling at Stratford (1705-1710), Thetford (1855-1900) and Norwich (1955).

(The previous day (2 April) I observed the 0905 Norwich-Victoria service being worked by 419 (YK25 OMF), a Central Connect vehicle. The 1600 Victoria-Norwich service that day was worked by 420 (YK25 OMG). Having worked the back to London as seen here (3 April) in this photograph it didn’t work the 1600 Victoria-Norwich service that day which was covered by 418 (YK25 OME) which has been the regular Simonds coach employed since the service commenced in 2025. These three coaches all carry full Flixbus livery).
