Tuesday 23 September 2025 (0835) – Coach Services Limited of Thetford YN08 MLX, an East Lancs bodied Scania N230UD new to Nottingham City Transport (959) in July 2008, seen in Mildenhall. It had worked the schooldays only 0755 service 357 from Cavenham via Tuddenham and Red Lodge to Mildenhall College Academy (MCA)/The Hub and was now out of service.

When the new school term began in early September this year Barton Mills was deleted from the timetable. After the last pick-up in Red Lodge the service travels to Mildenhall via Worlington although does not pick-up there.

(I didn’t notice if the bus in the photo went off towards Fiveways or if to Mildenhall bus station but, according to the tracker on the Bus Times website, it didn’t go on to work the 0900 Mildenhall-West Row circular service 358 which has often been the next assignment in the past. However, that trip was worked by single decker BJ60 BYX which had worked a school contract to MCA from Brandon).
