Friday 22 October 1993 - Eastern Counties Omnibus Company TH908 (C908 BEX), a Ford Transit with Robin Hood van conversion bodywork new in February 1986, seen in The Street, Barton Mills working the 1600 service 155 from Mildenhall to Bury St. Edmunds.

The car on the right is emerging from the driveway of a house name ‘The Dhoon’ which had been the country home of Sir Alexander Fleming from 1921 to 1955. A plaque marking this can be seen on the wall (See PiP).

Full sized single and double deck buses are employed on the Mildenhall-Bury St. Edmunds runs but this particular trip was covered by the mini-bus that had been working on the Friday network of local services in and around Mildenhall.
