Left is 10872 (YX67 VDJ), an Alexander Dennis Enviro400D MMC new in September 2017, carries the yellow based livery applied to vehicles operating longer distance bus services. It was arriving the 1045 service 905 from Bedford via St. Neots. The bus is allocated to Bedford garage.

Right is 86005 (BV23 NRK), an MCV bodied Volvo BZL electric double decker new in April 2023, working Newmarket Road Park & Ride service PR2. Allocated to Cambridge garage.

Note the running number cards in the windscreens. 10872 shows ‘B’ (presumably indicating Bedford) and ‘X501’. Service 905 was previously the X5 (so presumably this is bus one the rota still using prefix X5 which is shorter than 9051 or 90501). 86005 shows ‘PR23 (perhaps bus 3 of service PR2?)
