Saturday 24 August 2024 (0952) – NK Holidays, Sittingbourne, Kent BF16 XPC, a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo that had been new Shearings Holidays (837) in May 2016, seen heading eastbound on the A11 at Fiveways, Barton Mills. It was more than likely working a day excursion to the Norfolk Broads.

The company website showed an excursion to the Norfolk Broads on this date the write-up telling of an early start with a break at Birchanger Green travelling to Aylsham from where the party would ride on the Bure Valley Railway to Wroxham. The coach would then take the party the short distance to Horning for a cruise on the Mississippi River Boat.

The weather forecast wasn’t good for today, unlikely that the rain stopped at all before the homeward journey.
