Johnsons YJ07 DWG and YJ04 GYA in Bury St. Edmunds - 29 Aug 2012 (DSCN8751)

Wednesday 29 August 2012 (1143) - Two Bova coaches of Johnsons Coach and Bus of Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire had recently arrived at Bury St Edmunds bus station on an excursion from their home area.

This excursion, listed in the company's 'Express Excursions' brochure which featured a range of destinations of about a 3 hours journey including a 15 minute comfort stop, had an advertised time of departure at 0830 (with a quoted arrival in Bury St Edmunds of 1130) and a return departure from Bury St Edmunds at 1630 (arriving home at 1930). The coaches were on hand in the bus station at 1615 for loading for the return trip which, as it turned out, had become a rather damp afternoon. YJ07 DWG (new in 2007) leaves to go to park up. YJ04 GYA (new in 2004) is just visible on the right.

Just visible on the left is a bus of local operator Mulleys Motorways, MUI 6449 is a Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart SPD that was new in February 2000 to Lothian Buses (Edinburgh, Scotland) as their number 164 (V164 EFS).
