Sunday 12 May 2024 – Market Place, East Dereham.

This photograph was taken from the upper deck of Go Ahead owned Konectbus/Hedingham/Chambers 502 (LF52 ZNE) which was running the Park & Ride shuttle service as part of the Mid Norfolk Railway Bus and Coach Day. It is a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL new to London General (WVL93) which will be put to work on the Clacton Breeze seafront service in a couple of weeks time.

Passing by, as part of the event, is Peelings Coaches (J Joplin) of Tittleshall, Norfolk FAH 275Y, a Plaxton Supreme V bodied Volvo B10M new in March 1982 to Smith’s Coaches of Wood Norton, near Fakenham.

Up ahead, not connected with the event as far as I am aware, is Expressway Coaches Limited, Wath-upon-Dearne, near Rotherham YJ13 GXX, a Berkhof Axial bodied VDL SB400 new in May 2013.

Behind that coach is Konectbus 617 (SK15 HKA), an Alexander Dennis Enviro400D new in August 2015, about to work the 1055 service 11 to Watton. The bus carries branding for the Watton-Norwich service 3 which was interworked with service 11 in a pattern East Dereham-Watton-Norwich-Watton-East Dereham.
