Friday 8 September 2023 (1028) – A continental atmosphere in St. Peter’s Street, St. Albans on one of the hot September days.

I had just travelled on Red Eagle Buses Limited 33 (YY15 GDK) from Marshalswick as it worked the 1000 trip of St. Albans town service S6. It is an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200D new to Central Taxis, Felling in May 2015.

Standing ahead of that is Sullivan Buses E59 (LK08 DXW) taking a break between trips on service 84 which runs to Potters Bar. It is an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400 bodied Trident that had been new to Metroline (TE884) in July 2008.

In the distance (right) are two Arriva buses and another Red Eagle bus.
