Sunday 25 September 2022 – Showbus 50 Rally, Hertfordshire County Showground

Two former London Transport Park Royal bodied Leyland PD2 buses in course of preservation. They date from circa 1950.

The standard RT class had AEC chassis but there were similar looking vehicles on Leyland chassis classed RTL and RTW as seen here.

On the left is RTW497 (LLU 987), an 8 feet wide RTW and on the right is RTL1348 (MXX 71), a 7 feet 6 inches wide RTL
