The service, branded U for Universal is sponsored by the University of Cambridge but is available to all, operates from Eddington on the western side of the city to the Biomedical Campus at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. The route travels via the Madingley Road Park and Ride site, the West Cambridge University site, Grange Road (which has a combination of residences and University locations) before skirting the edge of the city centre along Silver Street. From there it continues to the Railway Station before joining the southern Busway to reach the large Addenbrooke’s site. Note the Busway guide wheels visible as the bus makes the turn.
