Saturday 27 July 2019 (1440) – Preserved former Leicester City Transport 301 (GJF 301N) seen in Charles Street when running a circular service as part of the Leicester Heritage Bus Running Day. It is an MCW bodied Scania BR111DH new in March 1975, a model named the Metropolitan which was a joint project between bodybuilder MCW and Scania. Despite being forty odd years old it somehow doesn’t look out of place in a 2019 cityscape.
