Saturday 28 September 1985 - Premier Travel Services 262 (NEB 349R), a Plaxton Supreme bodied AEC Reliance, seen at New Hall, Huntingdon Road, Cambridge.

Today I signed on at 1200 noon to work a private hire wedding shuttle service between New Hall and Christs College on St. Andrew’s Street in the city centre. Five times I took the coach via Bridge Street, Trinity Street and Market Street to reach St. Andrew’s Street – some narrow one-way streets with restricted access nowadays.

In the evening I used this coach to work the 1900 service 792 to Peterborough returning as the 2010 service 792 back to Cambridge. Just for devilment I brought the coach back into Drummer Street via the same streets I used during the afternoon making it six times over the day! (Ref 28-09)
