We walked with the animals. There were a couple of Russian UAZ 4x4 vans that took the luggage that we could jump on if we wanted to, but the challenge was to walk it.

I'm enjoying your photographic records of the trip............this one is superb........the landscape is stunning, especially those majestic snow covered peaks. The people and animals look so small in comparison.
