Dandelions are edible flowers. They make wonderful wine -- I can attest to that~!
The small leaves are great in salads [ just don't tell any fussy eaters what they are! ]
If you have any wild violets ( Johnny Jump Ups around here ) - also super edible ! No idea how many times the tiny leaves have gone into salads ... I say not a word....
