WOW! A superb shot, excellently composed and it has a real sense of 'verve' about it. Not now quite sure what I meant but I was certain a minute ago!

I like what Andy said about 'verve', above. The image becomes almost (but not quite) abstract, Cheryl. I love the flash of purple and the way you've brought out the variegated colours of the feathers. Great work, pet.

And a great capture, and the watery background is a good abstract setting for your subject.

What great patterns and shapes! The background perfectly blurred, yet there enough to make the patterns relate to the duck. Love the energy of this.
