The Moon Has Docked:-))))
'The Fallen Moon' a replica of the moon's surface was created by Luke Jerram using NASA data and was 10 metres in diameter. This art installation was part of Luke's touring artwork project and was scheduled to be in Bridwater Docks from 14th October to 3rd November last year. In the evenings it was illuminated. There was a night market and crowd lined the docks to get a glimpse of this artwork and to enjoy the atmosphere.
Sadly it didn't last fr the entire period as there were issues with the moon starting to deflate. Fortunately on the night of the market there were people on hand with a boat to rectify the situation and ensure it was looking as it should.
As you can see the old lock gates are in need of a lot of TLC.!
HWW!
