Funghi With Frills!

Captured at Lydeard Hill, Somerset.

I have not idea what these 'mushrooms' are but I thought they looked quite attractive. They looked almost transluscent in the sunshine. If anyone has an ideas what they might be I would appreciate it.

The closest I could come to a 'Fun -ghi' link was this song sung by some pretty well know 'guys'

Here is 'Fun, Fun, Fun' by Status Quo and the Beach Boys!!

Best vieweed large I think. Thank you.

At first glance I thought they were daisies ;-))) I think it's the "parasola plicatilis", commonly known as the "pleated inkcap". The species is generally regarded as inedible though nonpoisonous.

Une forme étonnante !
Peut être un "Lactifluus subvellereus" sans aucune certitude.
c'est le seul qui a à peu près la même forme que les tiens mais sans fioriture.

These are very interesting. They look really delicate. You've captured them really well.

Great detail and interesting fungi, particularly as they seem to have inverted the usual conical top.
