Weathered and Time -Worn HWW

Found at Crail Harbour. This weathered wall and distressed looking door with peeling paint and rusty bolt caught my eye. I loved the colours in the wall and rough textures that made it look as if it had been battered my storms for a thousand years or more.

A terrific capture, softer stone may be easier to work with, but it is no match for nature as the excellent detail in this image shows,
I like the rusty bolt and on the plate under the lintel plus the artwork of peeling paint,
