Überwinterung:
Insbesondere das Tagpfauenauge und der Kleine Fuchs nutzen häufig Dachböden, Schuppen oder Keller als Winterquartier. Manchmal fliegen sie schon im September/ Oktober auch in Wohnräume und suchen sich ein Plätzchen in einer Zimmerecke.
