Installations from wheel trims - Alu, Wood, Neon lamps, 2023

This time, in the exhibition "Im Wege stehend" (Standing in the Way), he deals with the car and shows found wheel trims that he has assembled into a kind of igloo. Each hubcap usually has a radially symmetrical ground plan that resembles the blueprint of a flower. Thus the hubcaps are often the only decorative elements of a predominantly functional design. The title of the artwork Hémisphère describes the shape of the object and also hints at a global dimension: the conflict between our beloved CO2 slingshots and the threat to our world posed by global warming.
