It's mid May, but our tomato plants are still churning out loads of the sweetest tomatoes. This year we grew three different heritage varieties, bought as seedlings from the local Anglican church fete. And today I was able to bottle 8 x 750ml jars full of them, with loads left to eat fresh. What a treat at the start of winter!
