Shinkansen Series 100

The 100-series Shinkansen was the successor to the 0-series. This one is No. 100-122-5003, manufactured in 1989 by Hitachi. Series 100 operated from 1985 to 2012, max. speed 220 km/h, standard gauge 1435 mm.

I really liked the dining room on the second floor and the private rooms on the first floor.

They’re adding more private rooms, but there won’t be enough seats, so it looks like I won’t be able to get one.
