Sierra Nevada and Owens Lake
Photo is taken in direction of Mount Whitney (4421 m), the highest peak of the Sierra Nevada, but which cannot be seen here. It's behind the horizon.
scanned slide, Minolta X700
Such a vast landscape...............magnificent in that lovely light. The sky and mountains have some wonderful colour tones and make a nice contrast to the earthy foreground colours.
The black and white image is exceptionally lovely............with beautiful tones and light!
