Antigua Carretera Central

We are heading east from Santiago de Cuba, to Guantanamo and over the south coast to the most eastern tip of Cuba. Here we had to stop and for obvious reasons we took the new road ;-) The abandoned bridge leads over the valley of Rio Guaninicun near El Cristo. Unfortunately I have no side view, because it was diffucult to access.

Das ganze Tragwerk ist verzogen und verdreht. Was kann es sein theoretisch? Hochwasser (wahrscheinlich), Erdbeben (vielleicht), Hurrican (dort eher nicht), Pfeiler oder Widerlager weggebrochen (am wahrscheinlichsten) ;-) Komisch ist ja, dass sie die Fahrbahn entfernt haben, das Tragwerk aber nicht.

Beim Versatz in der Mitte und dem Absinken rechts ist wohl ein Pfeiler oder eine Stütze defekt.
Aber im Vordergrund habe ich keine Ahnung: Der Träger links gerade, die vier rechts davon gekrümmt - Auffahrunfall? ;-)
Warum die ganze Brücke wegreissen, wenn Fahrbahn entfernen reicht. Oder der massimo lider war ein Urbexer ;-)
