the machine halls

The main machine halls of the textile mill are housed in this 4-floor building. Let's finally visit it. I hope you will not be bored by the almost countless different, complex machines, good old analogue engineering. Some are more, some are less spectacular (for me), but I will show a lot of it, just for documentation. If there are experts, who know their exact function, you are most welcome to comment and explain ;-) It's no system in the order, it's just like I visited it.

Fantastic detail shots! Did you have to get permission to go inside?

Berny replied to Diane Putnam:

Many thanks Diane. In this case I had no official permission. The old mill is situated in a very remote area.
