View of a part of the market place

The large area of the Piazza della Repubblica allows the open-air market to exist side by side, with covered market halls dedicated to different product groups.
In the open part of the square you can buy food, shoes, clothes, household goods, plants, fruit and vegetables. The open part also houses the famous Tettoia dei Contadini (Farmers' Market), where local producers sell their products.
