The statue of Amadeus VI of Savoy, it shows the Count during the victorious battle against the Turks, also known as Count Verde, who was a great personality in Turin in the fourteenth century.
According to legend, the nickname Count Verde derives from the colour of the clothes he wore during the battles of poetry and tournaments in which he was always victorious.
