Scotland St. Cuthbert's Way (PiP)

Soon we reach St. Cuthbert's Cave.

PiP:
St. Cuthbert's Cave, also known as Cuddy's Cave or Cove, a natural sandstone cave in Northumberland.
The cave is connected to the holy Cuthbert, the Anglo-Saxon monk, bishop and hermit of the seventh century.
It is believed that the monks of Lindisfarne brought the body of St. Cuthbert to this place in 875 after the Viking attacks on the island.
