Time is standing still maybe the trains will return one day, it was in the 1960's that the infamous Doctor Beeching closed vast amounts of the UK rail network much of which we now need

I doubt the trains will ever return there - the line would require major restoration.
Even existing trains are being replaced by buses, which is a disaster both for carbon footprint... and passengers' comfort. To the extent that those domestic coaches are being known as "Macron coaches".

I'll rush to that place, so I'll stay forever young ;-)
