L'esterno della Citroniera o Scuderia Grande

La Citroniera della Reggia Venaria. L'edificio, detto "Scuderia grande" o "Citroniera", fu costruito su progetto di Filippo Juvarra tra il 1721 e il 1727 e veniva utilizzato per la conservazione degli agrumi durante l'inverno.

The Citroniera of the Reggia Venaria. The building, known as the "Great Stables" or "Citroniera," was built to a design by Filippo Juvarra between 1721 and 1727 and was used to store citrus fruits during the winter.

Yes, part of it was a huge horse stable, as all this complex north of Turin was an hunting lodge (!). There is another hunting lodge (!) at south of Turin at Stupinigi. have a look!
