Madagascar, A Pair of Zebu for Each Cart
The zebu (Bos taurus indicus) are a descendant of the Indian aurochs (Bos primigenius namadicus). Its are well adapted to tropical and subtropical climates.
Zebu are considered sacred in Madagascar, but they are also eaten and used as draft animals.
