Madagascar, The Tomato Frog (Dyscophus antongilii)
The tomato frog (Dyscophus antongilii), is a species of frog in the family Dyscophidae.
Its bright red or orange color serves as a warning to predators.
When threatened, its skin secretes a sticky, toxic substance that can glue a snake's jaws.
Endemic to northeastern Madagascar, it inhabits humid forests.
Females can reach 9 cm in length, while males reach 6.5 cm.
