Barcelona, Facade of Casa Batlló
Casa Batlló is a residential building built in 1877 in the Eixample district of Barcelona and rebuilt by architect Antoni Gaudi in 1904-1906.
The most remarkable feature of the house of Batlló is the almost complete absence of straight lines in its design. Wavy shapes appear in the decorative details of the facade, carved from hewn stone, and in interior design.
