On a morning sortie we went looking for the path along the valley which goes 3km down to the coast. It starts first as a small spur road off the Deià lower road leading down to some farms on the edge of the village. In the foreground, is a bowl unit catching a small spring coming down from the hillside above, and water from that is then routed by a small suspended channel along the wall to a public Laundry Trough at the far end of the houses. You can see washing opposite the Trough hung on a linked-wire fence at the end of the view.
