Yes, we really had to rough it here. The grounds are about 500 acres, and the villas are spread through them. There were no vehicles allowed on site but there were minibuses available on demand a phone call away. As usual, with our black light moth trap going through the evening and overnight, we quickly became known with the drivers, so it just reduced to "the blue-light room" for pick up or drop off.

Thanks Jaap. It is a beautiful setting, and you don't need to leave the hotel if you want a restful holiday. The location covers all sorts of views and being in amongst tropical woodland is great for wildlife as well.
