1988 Peru Machu Picchu Composite

It is almost impossible to really portray the amazing scenery here as you sit and look at this amazing city built on a ridge with the deep Urabamba River Valley winding its way almost around it a thousand feet below. This is part of a stitched sequence of photographs which covers about half of the view.

I'm afraid there are lots of places we would like to have returned to, but it probably isn't so easy physically for us as there are 25 more years under our belts now. There are so many places we would like to go for wildlife, but we have to plan for more limited mobility now. I'm sure, looking back, as our albums will finally show, that we've been lucky enough to see most parts of the world, and have re-visited many places anyway. Often, though, going back, we see lots of development has occurred, so places aren't necessarily as serene as they used to be.
