A view to Baleal peninsula.

Long ago Baleal was an island. An isthm of sand increased throughout the centuries, until it became a peninsula of Peniche, which had also been an island, until an isthm of sand definitely connected it to the mainland. We can see remains of the Frenchmen's Fortlet and part of the outer islet.
