I can’t begin to imagine all the hard work that went into creating this wonderful landscape, magical vantage point for a photo, how did you get up there I thought you were on a boat?

When we arrived at Peso da Régua, in the afternoon, we had scheduled a visit to this estate, upstream on the left bank. Among the boat passengers, with several different programs, those who had this visit included were taken there and back in a couple of taxis.
This landscape was gradually transformed from the 17th century onward.
