GREECE: Self-adhesive postage stamp of €0.90 showing a portrait of Theodoros Kolokotronis (colorized version of an engraving by Karl Krazeisen, 1794-1878). The stamp was issued on September 23, 2021 marking the bicentennary of the sack of Tripolitsa, the Ottoman capital of Moreas district in 1821.

The stamp is cancelled with a nice postmark "Κ. Δ. ΑΘΗΝΑΣ - 04.3.22 - K. D. ATHINAS". Contemporary used greek stamps with reasonably clear postmarks are quite scarce.
