Steve Bucknell replied to J.Garcia:

Well, Judite, it’s not exactly Game of Thrones; but it will depend on what they uncover in their excavations…which have been going on for many years…. There must be something ancient down there to mark this Far Gate.

Steve Bucknell replied to Dutt Changgle:

One edge of my known universe. The construction work on this public space has become a focus of Sheffield’s dissatisfaction with itself; many of shops around it have closed; it’s completed state will be a new paved surface, that’s all. Sheffielders continue to wander round this labyrinth of fences and holes as diggers and workmen. The construction workers do seem happy.

Wonderful elements here Steve. I'm a sucker for frame in the frame compositions. Love the touch of humanity, in fact, I think it completes this photograph.

I particularly like the child seeming to gaze back at the camera.

It seems to be taken in the style of Ernst Haas.
