Sail Away With Me (PiP)

Early 19th Century warehouse building. largely unaltered, that is now home to the Wigtown Bay Sailing Club based at the Isle of Whithorn, or simply 'The Isle' as it is referred to by locals. The Pip shows the facade with beautiful floral displays and an old rusty anchor on the wall to the left.

I have added David Gray's 'Sail Away'

I love this beautiful floral display, Carol. I love too the style of architecture of this old building. All the best, Joe

Ecobird replied to Joe, Son of the Rock:

Thank you very much Joe. I liked the way the floral display echoed the building's use as a sailing club. I think the balcony was a later addition but aside from that it is pretty much as it was when it was a warehouse

Best wishes Carol

Ecobird replied to Boarischa Krautmo:

Thank you very much Markus. It fits with the sailing club theme anyway and is quite eye catching. I like things that are a bit quirky as they make me smile!!

Excellent flowers and superb images, I assume the sailing ship on the wall was a weather Vane, another wonderful place to visit!

Thank you very much Roger. Oh you are probably right. Thank you for that I hadn't realised what it was.
