At the very top of the UK mainland and another squall approaches across the loch, the wall has not fared well, time and the the Scottish weather have taken their toll, however the wild flowers will be pleased with a refresher.
This is Ard Neackie which is a small scenic peninsula on the east side of Loch Eriboll joined to the mainland by a narrow isthmus and has an interesting history of lime quarrying (from the outcropping Durness Limestone), From
