North East Corner

The most North Easterly Lighthouse on the UK Mainland is the Duncansby Head Lighthouse the tower was builtin 1924 under the supervision of David Stevenson, A large view will reveal the two Pentland Skerries lighthouses on the island of Muckle Skerry,
These are just three of many that protect shipping in the Pentland Firth.

Many thanks George, all are now automated and controlled from many miles away, and the former keepers cottages are virtually all holiday lets.
