Vintage Steam

And a vintage image from the archive, way back in 2004 at a West Somerset Railway spring gala,
This is in the yard at Minehead station.

The 0-6-0 on the left was built in 1912 and is the tank engine on the right in 1928 both are I understand still in working order

A lovely image, Roger, that conjures up thoughts of a bygone age. I remember steam locomotives well. All the best, Joe

Ein schönes Foto; nach dem Krieg musste ich viel mit dem Zug,
gezogen von Dampfloks, fahren.

Roger (Grisly) replied to sunlight:

Thank you, Ingrid, a nice nostalgia attached to steam that I guess is what keeps the line busy

An impressive looking pair of steam locomotives Roger. I like their black livery and the contrasting red paint on the buffers. Nice to get the escaping steam in shot as well.

Roger (Grisly) replied to Keith Burton:

Thank you, Keith, these came from a little Olympus pocket camera, and I was surprised at the quality all these years on.
