Dark & Grey Autumnal Day

Burrow Mump is a hill and historic site overlooking Southlake Moor in the village of Burrowbridge within the English county of Somerset. It is a scheduled monument, with a never completed church on top of the hill, a Grade II listed building. (Wikipedia)

It is only 24 m (79ft) high but stands out on the very low-lying and flat Somerset Levels and just like Glastonbury was an Island with Roman remains from the 12th century found here.

It may appear to be a dull Autumnal Day but the scene is
set . . the shows on the road . . wish I could walk up there and
take a look around :) well presented Roger . . I like the mood
and tone very much !

Roger (Grisly) replied to beverley:

Many thanks Beverley, It gives great 360 degree views of the Somerset Levels and Glastonbury Tor but that would need a clearer day than this, It is also on a Ley Line with the Tor,

Roger (Grisly) replied to Günter Klaus:

Thank you Guni :)) we had been out for lunch and stopped for a stroll and a few images.
I would have preferred better light, but you just capture what you can.

Burrow Mump is an interesting place whatever the weather Roger. A good shot. Did you notice if the nearby pub is still operating? We had a great meal there a few years ago.

Roger (Grisly) replied to Rosalyn Hilborne:

Thank you, Rosa, The pub you refer to is the King Alfred Inn, and they were open when we passed by.

Another hilly view from you Roger but a long way from Scotland. Love the building atop of it. Thanks for sharing.
