This Carpenter Gothic-style houses, one of three in a row known collectively as The Three Sisters, were built by John O’Brien, a local entrepreneur who owned and operated a stone and monument factory in Ossining. O’Brien built the houses from 1875-1877 for his three daughters: Birdie, Margaret, and Edith.
