Is any of it real? The people look fake. Is it a photo of an architect's watercolour rendering? The Fort Garry wasn't finished until 1913, right -- which was right at the end of Lyall's time period. The hotel here is definitely complete and in operation, with landscaping and shrubbery. Interesing either way.

Yeah, that was kind of my conclusion too. There is a lot of fake stuff in there, but if it is all fake, the artist did a heck of a good job on the buildings. (I can't use the word "fake" these days without experiencing a Trump-inspired twitch.)
