Notation: This real photo image depicts the aftermath of the January 1912 fire that destroyed the fire Hall in Kenora, Ontario. This was Kenora's third Fire Hall - its two predecessors had also been destroyed by fire.

Note on the reverse: "Dear Teddie. I think the rest of the boys are leaving to night. But they can not go without B. he laid off this trip. Dad is busy writing he came in at 8:15 went down wrote until noon then started again. and missed a first one by 20 min you know how he would feel don't you? Hope you found your folks all enjoying good health. Be good and don't forget to write Kenora's people. Annie"
